HOW TO CREATE YOUR PROFILE

Whether you’re here to participate or host a project, the first step to a successful Stretch@KP experience is to complete your profile.

How to create your profile in the platform

Your profile consists of five important areas that you need to complete in order to have a successful Stretch@KP experience:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself

Who you are, what department you’re in, and what your ideal project would look like.

2. Availability

Provide an estimate for the amount of time you have to dedicate to a Stretch Project - in terms of available hours per week and a general duration.

i.e. 4 hours per week, for a duration of 6 months

3. Would you like to receive email communications about new
projects matching your skills?

Selecting ON enables us to send you projects that might be a good fit. By selecting OFF you will not receive notifications when projects matching your skills are posted. (You can toggle this as your availability status changes.)

4. Skills you feel most confident in

What skills are you bringing to the table? (We suggest selecting 3-5 skills.)

5. Skills you would like to develop

What skills are you hoping to grow?

Tip: Logging in to the portal for the first time prompts a pop-up that easily lets you enter the most important parts of your profile.

Why it's important

A complete profile allows us to gain a better understanding of how to best match your skills with new and impactful initiatives at KP.

Tell your colleagues who you are, what you can do, and how you’d like to grow at Kaiser Permanente. If you’re hosting a project, it’s also important to let prospective participants know who you are.

Finally, don’t forget to upload a photo or an image that you feel best represents you to the community. The entire process should only take a few minutes and you can edit your profile at any time.
